Manifesto

Undaria pinnatifida reached Golfo Nuevo in 1992, most likely in a ship’s ballast water. Today it can no longer be eradicated.

Where control sees an invader, we see a harvest. Taking it out of the water relieves the gulf floor, and every kilo becomes food, matter and work.

We harvest by hand what the ecosystem lets grow, leaving the young plants untouched. Air-dried, batch by batch, with a public folio.

How we harvest

01

Harvest

Diving 3–4 m · knife cut

Harvested while diving, at 3–4 metres, cut with a knife in Golfo Nuevo, leaving the young plants untouched.

02

Rinse

Fresh water

Rinsed in fresh water to remove sand and epiphytes, so the salt does not take over.

03

Drying

Air-dried · no energy

Hung to dry in the open air, with no ovens, no energy and no additives.

04

Archive

Folio T01-2026-047

Every batch is documented and gets a folio with a public URL.

What we give back

Part of every sale funds the restoration of native woodland in the Espinal.
